Wednesday Coffee Talk

Happy Wednesday Everyone! the morning sun is slowly disappearing and we're supposed to get rain. Tonight is pasta night so there's no breaking my brain trying to figure out what's for dinner. I have some thin chicken cutlets which I'll bread and air fry and we'll have that with spaghetti. I would love to deep fry the chicken cutlets but I'm trying very hard to enjoy the foods I love and make the a little healthier. When I recently had my blood work done my numbers came out pretty good and the doctor was pleased. There's always room for improvement though so I'm working hard to stay healthy. For these reasons, I love my air fryer. I know many of us have talked about how great the air fryer is. Today I want to call my friend and see how her husband is doing. He just had surgery and is in Intensive Care. I also have to write out two checks (yes I still write a check occasionally). One is for my HOA fees and the other for our quarterly trash bill. Hopefully I can get them done and in the mailbox before the mailman comes. Other than that, nothing else is going on. Hope everyone is having a good day

My friends husband should be okay. HIs surgery went well although it was unexpected. Yes, we're back to rain today after two beautiful spring days. Hope your appointment went well.

It's chilly enough here today for a nice bowl of soup.

I still write checks for my rent. They use to let me pay online through their portal, but about two years ago they quit that. I hope your friend’s husband recovers successfully. The ICU is scary.

My friends husband is doing ok after his surgery. He should be home on a few days. I used to pay my HOA fees through a portal but they recently changed companies and all the online stuff hasn't been changed over yet. Sending them a check just gives me peace of mind until it all gets squared away and I can go back to paying online.

Your dinner sounds good. Great about your numbers. We are going into the city today while we are waiting for the car. I don't think it is going to be that expensive because they said the pads are good, and don't need to be replaced. They added brake fluid but I think it does need some kind of adjustment because the stopping distance is too much.

As long as the pads and rotors are good your bill shouldn't be too high.

I hope the husband of your friend is recovering. I am trying to avoid fried food, I love but I know that it's not the healthiest food to have. I paid some bills online today. There is all the time something to pay.

@Marilynda1225 I am glad for your friend's husband. I bought an air fryer and prepared chicken cutlets in it. My husband asked to bring back the air fryer and to fry things than must be fried or make something different. There are new bills every day, if I could only also receive money every day.

My friends husband should recover and go home in a few days. The older I get the more I need to concentrate on staying healthy. I love fried foods too especially chicken cutlets but I'll stick with the air fryer and pretend it's as good as fried. There's always bills to pay. I pay almost all of mine online too.

I love deep-fried stuff but always fuss about how much oil you have and mostly it get wasted. So I just indulge when we're out.

Indulging when you're out is a good idea. Certainly saves on all the mess when it comes to frying it yourself.

I am sure that you can credit your improved health to the use of the air fryer, food tastes great yet we aren't frying things. I hope that your friend enjoys your phonecall, that will mean alot to her I am sure that she is worried.

The doctor was happy with my results and I can see improvement with my efforts. As we said many times, the air fryer is a blessing. I texted my friend for a good time to call. Yes, she's beside herself with worry but the prognosis is good for her husband.

Your dinner sounds delicious and healthy. I seldom eat deep fried foods these days. Too oily.
