17 April - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from wet and rainy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. The current temperature is 49 F. We got into the 50s today. It rained all day. We needed it.
I'm thankful for so much.
I'm thankful I could spend time with you today before and after I went to the ADRC. I love hearing how things are in your world. You are a huge part of my day.
I'm thankful for rock painting. My friend picked me up this morning and we had a good day together. There were a few no-shows today, and one is in rehab after an accident, so I'm praying for her. I painted one rock, as seen in the picture above. It's finished. It only needs to be podged and then I can bring it home.
I'm thankful for prayer tonight. One member called me and I suddenly remembered it's Wednesday and rushed up there. We had a good prayer night praying for each other's needs and giving praise for answers to prayer.
I'm thankful I got the laundry done this morning. I stripped my bed and washed sheets this morning along with the rest of the laundry. I only need to remake the bed. I haven't had time yet today to do that.
I'm thankful I have all my steps. I'll still use the foot cycle after I get the bed made.

I am thankful for the spring-like weather we've been having. I'm thankful for how well George is doing. I'm glad he was able to help me find the cat's tag that mysteriously landed on the floor. I'm glad I got the tag back on Chilly-bug.

@just4him Now if I could get George to want to shower we're good. I've been helping him clean up with bathing wipes, though. I'll have to see if I can find that large band-aid for the spot on his back.

I am thankful that my car will not be too much money. I really like your rock paintings. Lord knows we have plenty of rocks around here. I am going to keep my eyes open for a class.

@just4him I guess...not sure, but the local rec center has classes like that. I am not sure if I have their spring summer catalog. I will have to look.

I love the rock. I'm thankful I was able to file an appeal yesterday for my husband's rehab. I hope it gets extended. Have a good day.

You sound like you had a good busy day today. I love your rock. It must be fun going to rock painting.
I'm thankful today as it looks like my granddaughter has finally found a job after her graduation last December. I'm also thankful that my son and family are coming for a visit this Sunday.
Prayers are powerful and my friends husband is doing well after his unexpected surgery.
