The (almost) finished painting of the still life.

Above is the finished painting of the still life. I've only just finished this, so some of it is still wet. Today I started with the red apples, and while I was waiting for that to dry I painted in the darker areas of the flowers. I added more different foliage out of the window to.make it look more realistic, and a more realistic colour aswell. When the red apples were dry, I went back over the green apples that I did last week. Then I made up another lighter green for the apples that are a mixture of red and green and painted the green parts of those. I also painted in another green apple that is hiding in the bottom of the bowl. I added lighter areas into the flowers, then I painted in the stems and the leaves. While that was drying I painted in the brown bit on the right hand side. I painted in the window edges white, and tried to make them straight, because before they were anyhow. I painted in highlights and dark areas on the apples. I made up a very light pink for the vase, and while that was drying I added more little leaves into the flowers and adjusted some of the colours. Then, when the pink was dry on the vase I added the red and green patterns. Lastly I added in some apple stalks into the far right apple on the mat, and the topper most apple in the bowl. Then I called it finished, and took this photo. I'm probably going to do the background for the butterfly painting now. What have you lot been getting up to today? I hope you are all well.
