She got mad.

This lady that I know plays games online. After she gets a lot of points and I mean a lot of points. She cashes out for an item. It took her six months to earn one bag of peanuts a one ounce bag. In the store the bag costs $1. Why would I waste six months playing games for one ounce bag of peanuts.
I just told her I did not want to play games for a prize. I was not rude or anything and even said no thank you I do to many things online now I do not have any more time to play games.
I almost felt like telling her I could buy her a one ounce bag of nuts but I did not.
To me that would be a waste of my time.

@jstory07 People who are already addicted won't see it as a waste! As you say "she got mad". It also means "she's addicted".

Well, if the game is fun I might do it. I know I did a word game for months and about the time I was to get the prize it started over and never gave me the prize. Hateful I would say.

@jstory07 ........Yeah, I was really determined and was at about 9/10s of the way and I go to play it one day and it's reverted back to zip and I had to start all over. I deleted it.

She must be lonely, bored and needs the sense of accomplishment only winning something provides.

@jstory07 You can make decent money doing those, but they aren't for everyone. When I do them I found them repeative and getting a little personal.

Could it be that she's playing games for more than just the beanbag? There are some people who are very addicted to playing games. They are not necessarily addicted to rewards!

That's an awful long time to be playing games just to earn a bag of peanuts! I hope she is playing those games for the fun and enjoyment that comes out of it, not because she wants a $1 prize at the end. Who knows, maybe she enjoys playing those online games. Some of them can be quite fun, and some can be very addicting.

I can't blame you for telling her that.

That's a big waste of time for a tiny bag of peanuts! I would never play a game like that!

I would not spend 6 months to get a bag of peanuts. I can work survey sites or take part in focus groups and make a lot more. Have a good weekend.

Those games are a waste of time. They are misleading, as well. I tried playing a couple one time. There is no way I can spend that much time on games and most of them require some kind of monetary deposit in order to win actual money. Hell will freeze over before I deposit our hard-earned money for any kind of game. j/s
Needless to say, I only played them for a couple of weeks, then deleted the apps.
