A Tomball Texas police officer named Constable Neil Hudson with the help of a motorist who was driving on Texas state highway 99 and Highway 249 on Saturday morning when Officer Hudson took action to remove the dogs who were wandering on the highway in the middle of the road by themselves.
Another motorist who was in the area where the dogs were on the streets were located assist the police officer to remove the dogs from being injured from the highway.
Animal control officers came out to retrieve the two lost dogs to take them to the animal shelter where they determined that the dogs are microchipped and hopefully they will be reunited with their owner soon.
It is yet to be known if the dogs fled from their home by accident or if their owner left them on the highway on purpose.

Stupid if they left them on purpose. I hope they get charged if found they left them on purpose. Perhaps they were lost. I hope owners didn't do this on purpose.

Glad they were saved but when I read stories like this I have an urge to find the people who put these dogs into danger and put them in the middle of the highway,

I hope the owners didn't just abandon the dogs. Those pups are lucky to have been rescued before getting hit by a car.

Most likely escaped from the owners.
I cannot imagine owners allowing their dogs to freely walk on the highway, like that, on purpose.
Good that they were rescued safely.
