Deputies in Utah locate a missing hiker

Tobias Braaton who is a resident of Washington state admitted that he took a wrong turn when he started his journey in Thurston Peak on Friday from the Fernwood Trailhead in Layton Utah when his relatives reported that Tobias was missing when he did not return home on Saturday.
Tobia's relatives contacted the Davis County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) to search for Tobias.
The DCSO deputies with the help of the Utah Department of Public Safety who sent a helicopter as well as other agencies to look for the missing hiker until 2am on Sunday when the search was called off.
Tobias was located by the authorities on Sunday morning around 4pm after the search started on 8am.
Tobias was in good spirits despite missing for two days. Tobias admitted that he was hungry. Tobias is back with his relatives safe and sound thanks to the efforts of the authorities to find him.

It's not usually a good idea for a young inexperienced hiker to go out on their own.
He should have had others with him, who knew the area better.
Good that he was rescued safe and well, though.
