My Six Months Doctor Visit, Tomorrow

I have a doctor's appointment, at 8:00A tomorrow morning. Yes, that's quite early and it's about a twenty minute drive to her office. I like to have the first appointment of the morning.
Tawn is an amazing PA and very good at what she does. I've been going to her for about seven years, when my other PA left the community. Kristin was an excellent PA, also.
Anyway, they will draw my blood tomorrow, first for my A1C and the other blood samples they will send them out. Hopefully, my numbers will be improved. I was warned about my HDL cholesterol and a couple other numbers that were too high.
I get a little nervous, wondering what they might find.
Yet, God is my source of help, so I need to stop fretting about things!

My platelet level was over 500, this scared me. This can mean that cancer is lurking in the body, somewhere. Or inflammation somewhere, the lesser evil.

@sallypup Believe it or not, this doctor visit put a smile on my face! My A1C was 5.2 :)

A PA is a Physician's Assistant. They are professionals who work in the office, underneath a doctor. In reality, they are doing the same job as a licensed MD.

Come to find out, today was not for lab work. I thought it's 6 months, instead it's one year!

I didn't realize, the blood work is done once a year. I have another six months to wait:)

Believe it or not, I didn't get my blood tests. Just an A1C, which was excellent:)

I hope your test do well. I also have to see my doctor tomorrow. I always like having morning visits. I also will be getting my blood too, but not for those tests.

Worrying only means that we're concerned. But, it can go overboard, too.
