Over the past couple of days, I've noticed George make more of an effort to do more. He tried to pour his own pepsi yesterday, and was successful today. When our neighbor rang our doorbell, I'd asked him to get the door. Even though George was slow and stiff, he managed to do it and hold a conversation with her. And our neighbor understood him perfectly. The expressive afasia is still there. Some things he says don't make sense, but it's improved a lot.
I should have nagged him before going out again, to do his tube, but I'll get it done when he comes back.
He also ate a 15 ounce bowl of food. In one setting yesterday.

He can make a full recovery. He may have a few ticks, but nothing we can't handle. It'll be good for him overall.

@celticeagle I'vew heard stroke recovery can be a long process. Most brain repair happens in the first year.
