Sunny with a huge dose of its going to be hot by sundown day. I did not wake rested. Not one bit. I got up pretty much at the usual time, set on taking Beau Teak kitty to the Vet. It was his day to finally get his ailing ouchy mouth looked at. All cats fed, Fred given his meds in his food, me settling into breakfast. Phone rang. Rufus barked cause he does that when the phone rings. Hello?? Doc's office: "We've got Covid. We're not seeing anybody today." Okay. I will not be battling the freeway traffic in bright sunshine with a half headache. Good for me. Not so good for Beau Teak. Soon as I get over my yawning and maybe conk out for a few minutes I plan to walk the property. Now that everything is mowed it looks like a park. Mower friend brought over some silly and shiny glass stuff that she picked up from a free pile. Where to place it in the gardens? At least it gets me out walking......

I hope that you find the perfect spot in the garden for the glass.

@Tampa_girl7 thanks. I am thinking about putting cup hooks into the side of a wooden growing box and dangling some shiny glass cups there.

Poor kitty. I hope they get over it obviously for their sake, but also for Beau.

I need excuses to get out walking too. I'm not very keen on exercise.

@JudyEv Gardening gets me walking and moving. I wonder what would motivate you?

@sallypup I've been finding 10 minute exercises on YouTube and doing those so at least that's something.

Poor Beau Teak, I hope she can see the vet, very soon. Covid? We had that curse three times, the lighter version that put us flat on our back in bed. We only got tested once, the other times, nobody had to tell us what it was:( Rotten! That's how we felt:( Hurry up and get better, Lenore! Love, Kharla xo

@kobesbuddy I hate Covid. Two years after the first outbreak we got it hard. I'm sorry you went through it, too. Love back.

@sallypup It's almost like it doesn't really go away! The Covid virus lays dormant inside a person's body, then it strikes again at another time

Sounds like quite the eventful morning! It's always a disappointment when plans get derailed, especially when it involves taking care of a furry friend like Beau Teak. But hey, at least you avoided the freeway traffic and got to enjoy a leisurely breakfast.

Well you and Beau got a reprieve. I was glad I got Nico's vet visit over so we can both enjoy the weekend.

I'm sorry the vet's office has COVID. I'm sure you'll find a place for the silly, shiny glass your neighbor gave you.
