When it rains it pours. Have a clogged toilet. The plumber is coming out this morning (5/14). The lights have gone out on one side of the master bedroom. Must contact an electrician today. And problems with the rehab facility which I will address in another post. And I still can't find someone reasonable to put in the new step and handrails...and both of our garage door openers still don't work. Must call a garage door company.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Salisbury steak, noodles, mixed veggies, apricots
Dessert/Snack - Protein bar
Dinner - 1/2 Walmart turkey cheddar sub
What did you eat yesterday?

We had hot dogs last night because the hubs hurt his shoulder again working outside while I was at the boutique and everything was closed due to no electricity for me to stop and pick something up. So hot dogs won, quick and easy!!
I am sorry all these things are happening at your house! It always seems like something is going on to set you in backward motions.

How is your hubby's shoulder? Got the plumbing and electrical solved yesterday. The garage door opener guy is coming out today and I will have to call the rehab facility AGAIN today since no one there does his/her job.

@LindaOHio Oh that is wonderful that you can strike two off the list and another one tomorrow--which was today I think!!
I can only imagine how frustrated you are with that rehab facility! Hang in there!

@kareng I'm going to have to get firmer and threatening at this point.

Your home problems seem to be mounting. I hope you get everything fixed soon.
Your food looks good.
Breakfast was a banana and an egg sandwich. Lunch was a lettuce salad, and deviled eggs. Supper was an almond butter and sugar free raspberry jam sandwich and baked potatoes with shredded cheese and sour cream. I did my best to limit my sugar yesterday and succeeded.

Ugh..you are in a Murphy's Law cycle. I have been having that for awhile. They only last so long. Thankfully, since I got rid of that roomate, I haven't had any clogged toilets around here. I can usually unclog them anyway. There are a variety of remedies that work, and I have a plunger and a snake if necessary. I made waffles yesterday.

@LindaOHio Probably but they aren't full proof. Boiling water, and plunging along with..dishwashing liquid and baking soda and vinegar is pretty good to dissolve clogs.

Yesterday I had a salmon filet and a baked potato. Ice cream for dessert. Have you tried calling Habitat for Humanity about the steps and handrails? They might know someone.

Sorry, you are having all these problems and I hope you can get them fixed. I had more sauerkraut, smoked sausage, and seasoned fries,

I have an idea about the steps: contact the Boy Scouts. (Or the gender neutral scouts, or whatever the heck they are today.) They could build the steps or a ramp as a project. I know someone who got a ramp that way. You could also call the DAV and see if they know of anyone who does projects like that for veterans.
I had CTS (chicken taco salad) for lunch and chicken rice and BBQ taters for dinner. And apples! (I’m getting addicted to cinnamon applesauce…)

That’s a lot to deal with. I hope the plumber won’t drown your wallet. Did the lightbulbs die or is it an electrical problem?

I am sorry to hear that... sometimes it seems when one thing goes wrong, everything goes wrong! Hopefully things will be easy to take care of...
