May is racing by. It's OK with me. The sooner we can get the summer over with the better as far as I am concerned. I have to decide whether I want Hulu plus with Live TV or You tube TV. You tube is a little cheaper although I think I am more interested in Hulu. A couple of people on Reddit were complaining the couldn't find their local channels on Hulu Plus though. Luckily the offer a free trial to check it out. Do you use a streaming platform in lieu of cable?

We have TV with our Internet connection, it's a TV box connected to the Internet line and we have around 300 channels and they come free with the Internet subscription.

@LadyDuck Well, I am sure you speak both. We have Spanish channels here. I watch them sometimes and read the synopsis to see what I can figure out. It is like being functionally illiterate... I do understand simple Spanish if they go slowly enough or few words are spoken, but of course how often does that happen?

I think friend has a Roku. The Smart TV here has many of it's own channels. I haven't,t watched most of them. The Hulu Plus with Live TV has the Disney channel included with about 75 other premium channels.

@snowy22315 I looked at what Hulu Plus with Live TV offers. I can get most of it with the many free channels Roku offers. I also have a Smart TV with many of the same channels available.

We only stream, although we do pay $5/month for 1 app from Bell. One can usually find free trials most times, we used to try one and after a month make a decision and then move on to the next one to try, if there was one. Just be careful when you sign up for a 'free 30 day trial' because quite often they will bill you towards the end of the month assuming you will stay with them. Doing just 1 free trial at a time helps keep track of that.

This one only allows a free day trial. Hulu is pretty good with their free trials. I had one before.

@snowy22315 I believe that we have more streaming services that are free up here. We have done well not needing for any that come at a cost.

I have Hulu Live mostly because I like tv shows. I get to watch my daily tv and it's way cheaper than what I was paying for cable. Try it for free and see if you like it.

We will be leaving for a 6 week vacation on June 3, so while May seems to be crawling along it also seems like it's moving fast. I've already packed most of what we will need for vacation and only need to finish it up the Sunday before we leave. Bo will be staying with a cat sitter and I hate that I have to leave him but he can't go. He's going to be so mad at us when he comes back.

I have Paramount, plus 2 free channels. On Tubi I get Korean dramas which for me is great, and haven't watched Pluto much yet. I see Netflix has Korean dramas also.

Pluto is good. I have that I have Tubi on the phone, but I don't watch it often. Are the K dramas dubbed in English? I would tired of reading subtitles all the time.

I have Hulu+ and love it. All my local stations are there, ESPN, SEC channel, Hallmark channels..We love it. I pay like $87 a month, which is so much cheaper than cable. If I had cable/internet I would be paying over $200 a month. Tom likes College Football...mostly SEC teams. I have Roku, it has it's ups and downs...but had it over 2 years, now and happy. We tried Sling TV..could not get local news...and in order to get ABC for General Hospital and the SEC channel, we had to get BOTH bundles which cost us as much if not MORE than Hulu+. When I was trying to find something besides Sling, I looked at youtube tv, but they were $99 and I heard they went up.
