My first day of teaching went well.

It's good to be back in the saddle. I saw some favorite students yesterday, and we made progress, which is all I ask. Today is a long but fun day for me. I get to see my piano friend Alee, who is now eight. I've been working with her since she was four. She started on guitar but is now on piano. I also get to see my adult student, Jeanette, today, as well as Zane, who is six and likes to hide (quite poorly) under the piano before I come into the lesson room. I will attach a mermaid that Alee left in the lesson room a few months ago. I put it in my pocket and gave it back to her the following week.
