Wildlife officials are observing the fact that since we are in the spring season, bears are awake and walking around looking for food chances are the bears will be walking around highways which will cause interruptions of autos traveling on the roads.
A bear was seen on Highway 14 in Santa Clarita on Tuesday evening before sunset on May 14 wandering on the highway acting confused before the bear decided to go back into the mountains unharmed since the drivers showed compassion who was on the highway.
I have heard stories of bears wandering inside of houses since they want to eat food but it is rare for odd news reports of bears wandering on a highway looking for food.

Not a dog but a bear this time. How scary for the poor animal.

Neither have seen any bears outside of a forest except when I was a young toddler visiting a national park with my late parents about 60 years ago.

That's sad that it was confused. I'm glad it went back in the woods.

If somebody hit that bear, it would hurt the bear, and damage their car too.
It was lucky the road was busy, and people were only going slow, as a speeding car at night might have crashed right into that bear.
