A Virginia man uses a lucky penny to scratch a winning scratch off lottery ticket

Timothy Clougherty who is a resident of Accomack Virginia found a penny on the ground at a parking lot outside of a mini mart on Monday April 29.
Timothy then went inside of a Bloxom Mini Mart and purchased a $10,000 a month scratch lottery ticket. When Timothy used his lucky penny to scratch off the numbers on the lottery ticket, he was amazed that he won a prize of $10,000 a month for the next ten years.
Timothy decided to take the lump sum of $1,028,000 which after he pays his taxes he will use his winnings to pay his bills and take care of his family.
