Loose kangaroo caught by police in Texas

Police in Lufkin Texas answered an emergency call from the owner of a kangaroo that managed to escape from its owner on Wednesday May 22 that was seen running on a road in Lufkin. Lufkin police officers were able to capture the kangaroo and return the animal to its owner safe and sound. The wife of the owner admitted that her husband left the gate open by accident when the kangaroo ran away. Link is upi.com/78517164476063 via @upi

Heh. That would be quite a surprise! I brake for deer. I have never had to brake for a kangaroo.

That would be a sight to see if you were driving along wouldn't it? One time sis and I were driving along late at night in Western PA..and in the highway we saw something and both said at the same time.."That looked like an armadillo." They don't,t have them in that part of the country it was probably a possum.unless it was someone's escaped pet

Glad they got him back but here again I wish the kangaroo could communicate with humans, Perhaps there was a problem and he ran away, Now he is taken back and he might not be happy about that,
