Needed a Different Brand of Hairspray

A couple months ago, I paid far too much for a can of hairspray. I thought if it came from a beauty shop, the product would be better. Nope, it wasn't better. If I accidentally get hairspray on my scalp, it itches like crazy! Once this can is empty, I'll never go that route again. Today, I went to Wal Mart specifically to buy a different brand of hairspray and some orange/cranberry muffins. I selected Aussie Instant Volume medium hold, hairspray. Hopefully, this kind will work out better for me. I have skin allergies to most scented products. Pretty Photo:Borrowed from Pixabay

Remember Breck brand hair products? They no longer exist but my mother used them when I was little. They were great products. Whatever happened to them? And why is it that there are all these brands nowadays and not many of them are any good? I hope that Aussie works well for you.

@kobesbuddy .......It seems like every company nowadays has changed their formulas to be able to produce them cheaper. It's too bad. We pay a premium for very poor product in many cases.

Years back, my family used Breck shampoo also. It smelled really nice and it made my hair really soft. I've tried the brands I used to purchase and they're not the same! Laundry soap is different, too.

I hate having skin allergies. Sunshine, perfumes, scent, chemicals and other things irritate me skin.

Today, I'm using up the remainder of the older hairspray. Tomorrow, I'll be using this new brand:)

I hope the new hairspray works. I don't use hairspray. I don't like anything on my hair.

My hair is so fine, if I don't use a little hairspray each morning, it flies all over the place. It won't stay the way it's combed.

That sounds like an Australian product, just going by the brand.

I dyed my hair for about one year. My scalp was very irritated, by those harsh chemicals.

@kobesbuddy The dermatologist didn't know what was wrong with my scalp. I get painful and itchy spots on my head.

I hope that will work out for you. I am allergic to make up even the kind that you are not suppose to be allergic to.

And the hypoallergenic makeup bothers my skin, too. I can't use it!
