Firefighters in Michigan rescue a pet snake who was stuck inside of a small teacup

Firefighters in Lansing Michigan had to deal with a very strange situation dealing with a mom and her daughter who went to the fire station on Tuesday May 28 when the young girl who at a tea party with her friends had the bad luck when her pet snake slithered into a small teacup and the snake needed to be rescued.
The firefighters were able to use a tool to cut open the teacup so that the small snake could be released and go back with the party with her mom and her friends.
I am sure that the firefighters are happy to save the life of a small snake since it is their duty to serve their community.

That is what I am thinking why anyone would have a snake for a pet is beyond me.
