Found Some Metal Beside the Road

Jay and I collect metals from along side our local roads. It's going to a scrap yard in Bay City, within the next few months. The garbage truck would pick it up, if we didn't recycle it.
Jay no longer has insurance on his truck. For this reason, we can't drive it any longer. Owning three vehicles is too expensive, we can barely afford to keep two.
Anyway, Jay will figure out a way, to get the scrap metal to the recycling center.

My nephew collects scrap metal too and takes it in when he gets a full load.

The last visit, we got $100 for scrap metal we collected:) It was junk! lol

We have done this for the past couple years. Recycling junk metal, is a good business.

Best of luck to you with the scrap metal, We always got good deals on metal scraps and things in Latvia, We saved up stuff in our garage, then when guys in trucks pulled up we gave them what we had, they weighed it and we got some needed money,

We do the same thing, inside our shed. Except we drive to the recycle center, where they separate it, weigh the metals and issue us a check. At times it's quite a small amount, we don't care:)

Jay knows a man who needed his land cleaned. It was out in the country, with metal junk all over the place. This happened about three months ago, Jay brought it home.

I watch a channel on YouTube where the refuse collector takes all kinds of metal and gets quite a nice amount of $$ for it. Garbage can have some real interesting stuff.

That's why Jay canceled the insurance, on the truck. My jeep and his car, that's expensive! $100 the last visit to the recycling center, not bad!

We have a dining room full of aluminum cans. Some day someone will take them in for some $$. I'm glad you are able to make some extra cash from the scrap metal. Have a good weekend.
