Jay's Sister Shirley and Niece, Shantay

For Father's Day, Shantay sent this picture to Jay. It's a photo of his older sister Shirley and our niece, Shantay.
She was visiting her aunt in the nursing home, where Shirley lives. Shirley is Jay's sister number four, who's battling with dementia.
Jay went to visit her when he went to Alabama, in April.
I'm not sure who took this photo.

Shirley doesn't see family very often. This nursing home is 150miles from Decatur, where most of them live.

That's a thoughtful gesture from Shantay. It must mean a lot to Jay to have those memories captured, especially given Shirley's battle with dementia. It's heartwarming to see family coming together, especially during challenging times.

What a nice photo for Jay to get. It is hard to see our loved ones go through medical issue like dementia. Prayers for all of your family
