West Branch is a city that's probably 35 miles west of Tawas City.
My brother Bill was doing laundry, at the same time Jay was in the laundry mat.
We're not close with Bill. He tends to take advantage of people, until they get sick of him.
Anyway, Bill was alarmed by a weather report that he'd received. Apparently, a tornado had been spotted in West Branch and it was moving towards Whittemore.
Whittemore is a very small town, maybe 18 miles from Tawas City.
Bill's concern was, this turbulent cloud was heading in our direction. We looked at the north-western sky and the cumulus clouds were black.
Yes, we did get a rain storm last night, but no tornado warnings.

No, Bill was worried about the trailer, where he lives. The tornado was traveling toward its location.

@TheHorse I've seen photos of entire trailer parks, wiped out by a tornado It looked like piles of steel, ground metal and vinyl siding, with debris piled everywhere

It wasn't even a hard rain, just a light shower.

@kobesbuddy Usually we get warnings when the weather conditions are really bad.

Michigan gets tornadoes, as the weather vacillates from very hot to a colder temperature. This causes destructive turbulence, in the clouds.
