Dog rescued after he fell into a river in South Carolina

Charleston South Carolina resident Jeff Wiseman who was in the company of his Golden Labrador Retriever named Rocky on Sunday when Jeff was on a boat at the Ashley River when he hit an abandoned concrete dock which knocked him and his pet into the river while Jeff was distracted by his cellphone. After Jeff swam to the shore, he did see where his dog was located. After an ambulance took Jeff to a local hospital to be treated for seven broken ribs. Kim Wiseman who is the wife of Jeff sent messages of Facebook to persons to notify her if a boater saw Rocky in the river. The persons who received her plea of finding her dog alive were answered 36 hours later when a witness reported seeing Rocky on the other side of the river chasing a raccoon on the other side of the dock. What saved Rocky's life was that the dog was wearing a lifejacket. Rocky suffered an ankle injury and now back home with his owners making a recovery. Link is wiix.com/2024/06/27/los...
