What's on your agenda for this Friday evening?

I am done with Guitar Center and almost ready for bed. My students were fun, but I am happy to be alone now. Except for Kitty.
I did get some work done on the Acoustic Research AR-3a vintage loudspeakers today, but no work done (yet) on my book. Sorry, @Just4Him. Actually, sorry my a**. It may sting. But I can take a bit of prodding.
It would not be my first rodeo.
I was feeling a bit depressed today, so I bought something new to shake up my life a bit. I think it is called a shallot. It is an onion, I am told, but I have never cooked with one before.
I am frying up a small taco shell with refried beans, sharp cheddar, some sliced shallot, and some sliced peppers on it. I have some salsa verde ready. I hope I do not have to translate that.
How has your Friday been? What do you do when you need to shake things up a bit in your life? My shallot cost me 59 cents.

I enjoyed my Friday evening by completing surveys tonight.

@Deepizzaguy Were they interesting? I am pretty clueless about television any more.

Just watching a little t.v. while Chilly gets in my face and it rains outside. George's chilled out on the couch. He still refuses to take a shower, and said he'd do so today, but so far nothing.

My Friday was bad. My AC went out last Tuesday and this weekend we got a new unit installed.

Sounds like you're ready for finding the "Britt Com" I mentioned previously. I found it on You Tube by going to search and entering Are You Being Served?. Watch a few episodes before you pass judgement, they have some really great ones! Like I said my Mom was curious about what I was laughing so hard at, so I tuned her into it. She watched a couple of episodes and loved it too, especially with John Inman's character. It's set in a department store in London called "Grace Brother's" and it is men's and women's apparel sharing the same floor. Give it a try---I'm notoriously "odd" in my humor, and I love it.
They use automated displays, and the one I am watching is a man and woman dressed for a formal dance. The supervisor is told to press a button and the man's pants fall down. The workers adjust the drawers and the supervisor is told to press another button and the male robot raises his hands and salutes with his right. Then the supervisor is informed to press that same button again and the male robot straightens his arm out and punches the lady's head off her body.

@BearArtistLady It's odd what the censors allow and don't allow.

@TheHorse It is, that's why I like it so much. When you get a chance give it a try, IF you have an odd ball sense of humor you'll enjoy it too. What with Mrs. Slocomb and her moggy (cat) and the gay Mr. Humpfries..the place is always hysterical!
The censor wouldn't let me use the bad word for cat...it starts with p and ends in y.

I was planning for a nice relaxing evening of doing nothing but listening to the thunderstorms outside, but then work called me and said they were short-staffed and wanted to know if I wanted some overtime. Hell yeah, I'll take the overtime! It was a nice, easy shift, and I made a ton of extra money.

@TheHorse Unless I have something major planned, I will almost always take any overtime offered to me. I love when those paychecks come in.

Nothing going on here. Today (Saturday) I kept falling asleep. I had been awake for more than 24 hours; so that's understandable. Nothing on the agenda until Monday. Have a good weekend. How were your shallots?

@TheHorse I finally was awake long enough to start on MyLot. I'm very late today. It's 5:50 pm and I will be finishing up here shortly. Have a good evening.
