Can shoot out electricity that can be felt for miles around or spit venom on its victims. They are found in the Gobi Desert in Mongolia. These have been pursued by cryptozoologists and even credited academic folds alike since Roy Chapman Andrew's 1926 book entitled "On the Trail of Ancient Man". No one has ever seen one. Thank goodness. It is said to be the inspiration for the Arrakis Sandworm in Frank Herbert's novel "Dune". It has also been seen in different colors and sizes in several movies and even the game Dungeons and Dragons.
So, do you think this horrible creature actually exists out in the uninhabitable Gobi Desert?
Yuck and yuck again.

If it stays in Mongolia, I´m not worried. I don´t even walk out of my neighborhood lately.

@LadyDuck .......No one has ever seen one, thank goodness. I bet if one is seen it will turn out to be something much less intimidating.

It sounds a little "over the top". Maybe someone gave imagined characteristics to an average worm.

@celticeagle I agree with @marguicha. If it stays in Mongolia, it is good. I am not planning to go there in this lifetime.

@Fleura .......But this thing is a lot larger than those so the amount of electricity might be a lot more.

@celticeagle Well I guess it is possible for an animal to generate electricity - there are electric eels, electric rays and electric catfish. But the electricity isn't all that strong. And they all live in water.

Sounds like the sand worm in BeetleJuice. Never read Dune. I want to read it.

I hope it stays in Mongolia and doesn't end up in the US like everything else! Have a good day.
