Finally some rain.

We've finally got rain. It's been hot and humid for a while now. I suspect this is part of what's left of Baryl who hit Texas the other day. Chilly is actually purring at my feet. it's not as loud as it could be and has been, but I can feel it when I reach over and pet him
We'll go to Pet Smart tomorrow. I wanted to avoid the rain, but didn't get up early enough. George let me clean his stoma though.

The rain was welcome here, but now we have enough and there is a lot more of it supposedly on the way. Flood watches/warnings, etc. for later on. Very, very humid and sticky here, feels like Florida weather!

I think its still going here, too. Not that I'm complaining. George didn't stay out near as long. In about an hour I'll get him to do his second tube.

We're supposed to get rain tomorrow, but I'm hoping that because of the rain today, we can beat the rain. We'll have to take an uber since George isn't driving still.

@kaylachan I learned to swim from a very early age as well, although not before I could walk. I learned on a cross country trip from Green Bay, Wisconsin to San Diego, California when my dad (in the Navy) got transferred from recruiting in Green Bay to the USS Ranger (CV-61). We stayed at a lot of hotels on that trip and of course, that's where I learned to swim.

I saw those dark clouds rolling in from the Halifax River and then came the rain, Freddie and Tish were in the middle of lunch and then came the rumble of thunder and Freddie looks at me as if it's my fault, It has been a great start to the week for the cats, Their 22 lbs of Friskies seafood arrived and today came the autoship I have with Chewy and 40 pounds of little in two 20 lb packages, So no matter how I feel at lest the cats are set, I hope you get to Pet Smart tomorrow,
