I Dumped Milk on My Clothes

This morning I was heading out the door, to enjoy some morning coffee. Boo was on the porch begging to be fed. He waits patiently, until he sees me coming outside:) As I passed through the screen door, I dropped a cup of milk on the porch! Yes, it scared him, my clothes were splattered and so were my shoes & purse I didn't get upset, just went back inside to start cleaning up the mess. First, I wiped my shoes down, walked around in my socks for a little while. Of course, I had to change my slacks and wiped my purse with a clean rag. We always keep a teakettle filled with water on the stove. I used the teakettle to wash the milk off the porch. Ready to go? Nope! First I had to feed Boo, who was still crying for his breakfast:) He's definitely a true friend This made him purrrrr:)

Sounds like some of the little mishaps we have here, This morning I fed the cats and then took my mug of iced tea and was about to walk into my workroom when Freddie chose that moment to get between my feet, Not my fault he had a drop of tea on his head

Boo is a sweetheart! Did your socks stay dry so that you were able to walk around in them? I drop things often so I try to stick to drinking water and the only time I take food away from the kitchen sink is if my sister brings fast food or pizza to my house to eat together. When it comes to meals I find crumbs all over under my sister's chair in the dining room table! I have to get down and wipe it with a paper towel!

I take a cup of milk to city park, to put in my Burger King senior coffee. Their 1/2&1/2 is wonderful, but my cholesterol is up. I only use regular milk(1%) in my coffee. Yes, I had to change my socks, too:)

@kobesbuddy I didn't know 1/2 & 1/2 had cholesterol. do they make low fat 1/2 & 1/2 that you can use? Doesn't Burger King offer milk? Does Burger King still offer seniors coffee for free? I was wondering because of inflation. I remember that 20 years ago when daddy was still alive we went to dinner at Burger King and McDonalds a few times a week because he loved both restaurants' coffee! Love you!

I will tend to spill in the mornings. It gets better as the day goes on, and no, getting upset does not help at all.

Poor Boo. He would have got a fright when you dropped the cup of milk. But he obviously forgave you pretty quickly.

I hate when that happens. Fortunately with me it's usually water. Have a good day.
