Our housekeeper said she and her whole family are sick; so she didn't come yesterday. If my neighbor across the street is done with her traveling, I might have her pick up our mail. Spoke to the concrete guy. We may get our steps and railings the 3rd week of July. We are going to have sticker shock though because his estimate is going to be the highest...could be close to $4,000. Breakfast - Protein bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Ham, cheesy potatoes, mixed veggies, roll, fruit cocktail Dessert/Snack - Blueberry muffin Dinner - PB&J sandwich What did you eat yesterday? @LindaOHio Bingo. I have some queso in a jar someone left me on our last camping trip I want to use up. Maybe I will just make a cheesy noodle side dish tonight.

@LindaOHio Yeah, I bought an 18 pack of this quick fix stuff on Amazon because it was cheap..You got like 18 in the box for 8 something. I thought now that is worth a try. They are so simple to prepare, any 10 year old could do it. Perfect for me..lol.

I had to get the tire fixed again. The store that installed the tires originally said the plug was not cleaned and sealed, which was why the tire kept leaking. As I don’t like the idea of damaging tires that keep losing air by driving on them I’m getting new tires. (It’s almost time anyway.) I ate at Mark’s with a chicken & cheese stuffed baked potato for lunch, and spicy beef veggie soup for dinner. Plus watermelon and yogurt!!!!

@LindaOHio — ouch, if they’re original and with all the salt and brine y’all get in the winter to combat he s**w, I would imagine that they are rotted.

@FourWalls Yes. My husband always thinks that the mechanics are just telling him that to make a sale. I will push for new tires when he is home again.

I'm glad you're getting new tires. We need new tires for the Scion...the dealership said that they are rotting. My husband didn't want to believe them; but the car is a 2015. Could very well be as they are the original tires.

As the saying goes ... you're hemorrhaging money these days. Hope that you can get the steps done even though the price is so high.

I just want him to come home. Almost 6 months is long enough to be apart.

@LindaOHio I can't imagine living paycheck to paycheck. In fact, I would find it horrifying, honestly.

She came on Monday and then on Tuesday called me to tell me that they were all sick. So she was already contagious when I saw her. I hope I don't get sick.
