A few hours ago my grandson Daniel called me. We talked for a while and he is coming for dinner on Monday. I will look with my own eyes how is his face after the assault he suffered. I will look around to get an anti scar cream to give to him. My almost 80 year old life has been full of surgeries. The doctors give me a prescription for my scars and I buy the cream. Later I forget to use it. So, there they are. I gave one to Daniel last year after he had a mayor surgery in his tummy. I don´t know if he used it or if he is like his grandma. I was thinking that tomorrow I´d have to go to the drugstore for my pain meds. I was hating myself for not daring walk 3 or 4 blocks to the drugstore. But then, a little while ago,my brother invited me for a lunch out. And I asked him if, on the way, they could take me to the drugstore for me meds. He could not say no so I´ll have a wonderful luncheon and won´t have to pay an Uber for my pills. And next week, after Dixie finishes some tests that have to do with her painful leg, I´ll go for a couple of days there and from Dixie´s house go to have some blood tests that one of the doctors want. I am very glad to see so many people. When I´m alone, I tend to have thoughts I shouldn´t. Now my thoughts have to do basically with what I will wear, considering that it is so cold outside.
