Another Heavenly Birthday

Today would have been my husband Martin's 73 birthday. During this time I have learned some truths, You never forget but as each year passes you learn to deal with it. It is nice to have the memories. I have a chair in front of my closet opposite the computer chair I sit in. Whenever anyone like my friend Nick comes upstairs and sits in the chair it creaks with the weight. This afternoon at a bit of a down moment the chair creaked and I was glad for the company because right away the heaviness lifted.
My evening is also taken care of. I discovered an old series on YouTube that I had not paid much attention to when it was on TV. However, now I find it enjoyable to watch Burke’s Law. I love the murder mysteries and how they are solved. It is amusing to see all the old actors and Dom de Luise is a regular. So while there are episodes I can watch I am enjoying it. For those who have never seen this series, I recommend watching some episodes.

@AmbiePam and if I can get it together I will watch some of my home movies this weekend, You cannot imagine how it makes me feel to hear this voice,

How wonderful that you have home movies of him to watch, and to be able to hear his voice. I would be so happy to have that of some of my loved ones who have passed. I am sure it's heart wrenching, I am glad you do have good memories of him.

@Kandae11 that was just it there was no one I could see but I knew my husband had come in spirit to comfort me, That frustrates me I so wish he could materialize if only for a moment, One of my cats Freddie was able to see him a while back cats have that talent,

I know how you feel. Sometimes, my cat Dennis just stares into space and I wonder if he sees my husband. Happy you got the comfort.

@popciclecold it is interesting that our cat Sid who is with his Papa now was so close to him, I always thought it was a male bonding thing, Now my cat Freddie has seen him in spirit and is always overjoyed when he sees him again and when I hear the happy meows I know Martin is with me in spirit
