Yes, you @porwest with all that talk about fish portions.
While I was out a bit ago I bought some Gortons fish portions, but I got the Parmesan crusted. We will have fish sandwiches tonight, plus baked sweet potatoes, and who knows what else.
Saturday is Dollar General coupon day, and I had some stuff to get. I got the fish portions there as well.
I have seriously strayed from stated agenda for the day. That is okay, there are other days.
It is too hot to be outdoors right now.
I have an owl in my yard. I think Bruno is too big for him to carry off, but he was out there actively hooting and flew away when I walked to my car.
I would like Bruno to come in soon, we shall see.

@kaylachan Last year we had lots of wind storms in July and the heat was over 100 a lot.

I would love to see an owl up close. I did see one at the World Center of Birds of Prey but that was a long time ago.

You saw an owl? That is way too cool. We've only heard them hoot sometimes at night. I hope you enjoyed your fish and have a good day.

I see all kinds of wildlife from time to time. I am glad to not be in a city, although in the small city we used to live in I would see them at night in trees and even on fences.

Hey, maybe I should call up Gorton's and see if I am entitled to a commission or something. lol. I have never tried the Parmesan crusted ones, but I think now the next time I buy some I might get them and try them. They can't be bad.
As for owls, I always hear them, but I have yet to see one.

Usually they are further away, across the road or in the back. In my other town I have seen them up close when taking nocturnal walks.

The fish sandwiches were very good. I used the last of my burger buns. I also put a slice of muenster cheese in each of them.
