Explosion!!!

Not exactly, but still a shock.
I mowed for a while this morning. Then I turned on the hose, I was going to water the plants and bird baths, etc.I thought it would help me cool off. I was right.
I had two hoses joined together. One was kind of old. It had a "rubbed" place on it. I have a sprayer on the second hose. The older hose is what was attached to the faucet.
I turned the faucet on. Walked over, picked up the sprayer, and surprise!
The place that had been rubbed gave way and showered my whole back side. Nice and cool.
So this afternoon we went to Wal Mart. I got a new hose, along with other essentials like toilet paper.
That was one explosion that did not have a bad ending, really.

At least the hose cooled you off.

Did you get an extra long hose or one of the same length?
(I cut my grass in the early evening.)

Got an extra long one. Our temperature peaks at 4 and does not really go down until after dark. I would like to cut morning and evening.

I knew there was a worn space, just did not expect to feel it suddenly.

I would not have liked to get soaked like that, but I'll agree. Well worth it if it was hot.

Probably would never be my first choice, but it did feel good.

@GardenGerty If it was planned, maybe not so bad.

Yes, it was. I wish I was a little kid who could play with abandon in the sprinklers.

Yes, it was. Now I have a new, longer hose. I will be sure to bring it inside for the winter.

I have hot words other times. I was not too upset at the cool down that I got.
