Lunch with Elaine, my friend the writer

We hogged our booth in Pizza Hut for about three hours. Elaine was my room mate for my freshman year in college. So we have known each other for about fifty years. Her first books were about intentional grandparenting, however the book I wanted is for young children and it is about learning to manage their own feelings in an appropriate way. When she moved to this area, about five years ago, this book was written but not finished or published yet, and she shared the story with me of how she came to write it. She is also interested in genealogy and her most recent book is about her grandmother when she was a school teacher "out west". She has also ghost written a book and a devotional book as well.
