14 August - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from sunny, warm Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's currently 82 F.
It's been a good day with time for everything.
I'm thankful I went for my walk on the trail early. I walked out when the temp on my phone said 63 F. I swear it was already 70 F. I walked two sections of the trail, industrial and pond. I also met my friend with her dog as I was getting onto the pond trail from the industrial section. Right now I have almost 9000 steps.
I'm thankful for the work I did on two books - In the Hands of Mighty Men and Faith to Believe. I opened them and knew exactly what I needed to do. I got a chapter edited in each.
I'm thankful for Bible study this afternoon. It was a good study on the cost of discipleship parable. It was also good we could help one of the men who came who had a medical situation. We called the paramedics. I expect he will be fine.
I'm also thankful for another person in the group. She signed up at the Kroc Center, a place for a number of different activities including pool and fitness. I'm going with her tomorrow. I'll be back on my usual time schedule again. I'm leaving at 5:30 tomorrow morning. 
I'm thankful for the time to make freshly squeezed lemonade and scratch potato salad. The lemonade turned out perfect. I have the potatoes cooling in the fridge. I'll finish making it soon.

I am grateful that my older sister celebrates her birthday today and I was able to receive payments from two survey sources today.

I'm thankful for the cloud cover and sunlight. George has been fairly coopporiative the past couple of days in terms of his tube feeds and such. I'm for warning him about needing to go to the VA at the end of the month for his bloodwork. That's going to be a fun conversation.

That sounds like a very good day.
I’m glad you think that gentleman will be okay.
I’m thankful my dad could take me to the doctor today. This doctor is about 40 minutes away, and the highway is crazy around that way. This way I didn’t have to deal with it.

When we got done with prayer last night. I went to the mailroom to get my package someone said was there. When I got there, the gentleman walked into the building with his wife and daughters. I'm glad he's okay.
I'm glad your dad took you to the doctor, and you didn't need to deal with the traffic.

Monday, it was hard to believe how Satan was attacking my life, verbally. Yesterday, I prayed without ceasing. Today, I've seen so much difference, God is answering our prayers. Verbal attacks are frightening, when Satan harbors so much anger against a born again believer, such as me.

Great that you provided help to the man who needed medical attention.
The work on books would give you greater reason to be thankful to God.
I think I am thankful to God for giving me a lot of good things in life.
Although some might argue that I lost opportunities to have a better life but I know that God has helped me in a lot of situations.
9000 steps is a great number.
Here, the weather is pleasant although sometimes it is very humid.
I went out for some work almost 1 and a half hour back.
It rained just a bit and then it stopped. The temperature dropped a bit but the humidity increased more than it was before.
Anyhow at least it is better than those extremely hot days of May and June.
This "I Love .... " concept seems to be everywhere. In my place, in tourist places and lots more !!
