Liling Warren was driving her auto on a road in Wake County in North Carolina over the weekend when she saw an eastern box turtle who needed her help.
Liling got out of her auto to pick up the injured turtle after she had a chat with her close friend Natalie Barbour where to take the injured turtle to be treated for injuries.
Natalie told Liling to take the turtle to the North Carolina State Turtle Center (NCSTC) so that the turtle could be treated for injuries.
Both Natalie and Liling took the turtle to the NCSTC where the veterinarians told Liling that the turtle is currently in fair condition.

Once the turtle shell is broken, I doubt that anyone can fix it. Maybe high strength glue would help.

I am sure that high strength glue will repair the damaged shell,

With a broken shell, maybe it can be sealed with a powerful glue.

That is true since a turtle walks very slowly.

@porwest I have noticed that turtles are so slow that the joke of driving is "Are you driving like you have eggs inside of your auto?"

Looks like some damage was done there, and lets hope that it can be stapled back together, so that the turtle can keep living a bit longer.
