It rained a boatload Friday night into Saturday morning, so the grass was too wet to mow. Maybe tomorrow?
Nope! Saturday night into Sunday morning, repeat performance...
But about lunch time Sunday I went out and did some weeding and deadheading and trimming the rose bushes. I packed it in at 5pm, put everything away, and came in and had something to eat. I would have had my dinner out on the back patio but I was too tired to pull the seat cushions out of the storage box, let alone actually make dinner, so just sat inside the back door on the kitchen steps, eating pie and drinking tea.
I started to read my book but it got too dark to see without turning on the stairwell light. So I decided to close the door and come inside. And just like that! it started to rain again.

We've been getting a lot of rain too. Temps are going to drop into the 70sF (21+ C) this week which is perfect weather. Have a good week.

I'm just glad it held off until I was done for the day. It's stopped now but I'm sure it'll be back tonight.

@BarBaraPrz I'm not at all ready for snow, not will I be when winter comes. My husband heard or read that our area is supposed to get a lot of snow this year. We'll see. Last year we barely got any.

When I moved into this place 7 years ago, the weeds were a foot or two high... had to use my grass shears.
