My Mum's had to go into hospital.

On Friday my Mum went to the house group that meets at Church to practice her part because they were taking the service on Sunday. But then on Saturday my Mum got a pain in the side. She was still hoping to go to Church on Sunday to do her part. On Sunday she was still hoping to go, but the pain in her side had got worse and she couldn't get up off the sofa. So she asked me to take the card with what she had to say on it to Church and give it to Irene or Jean and tell them that she "can't come today because she's got a pain in her side." So that's what I did. When I got home my Mum still hadn't moved. She'd gone off her food aswell. She left her dinner on Friday, didn't have any breakfast on Saturday, didn't have any lunch on Saturday. She did manage to have some breakfast on Sunday, but after that she couldn't get up off the sofa. I cooked some fish fingers and waffles for my Mum and Syd for Sunday lunch. My Mum had hers sitting on the sofa but she didn't eat much of it and I ended up eating it cold! This morning my Mum still hadn't managed to get up out of her seat, and therefore she'd been going to the toilet there where she sat. So Syd called the paramedics. My Mum said she didn't want to go to hospital but they said it was advisable because she's got a temperature and an infection, and they've got to run tests. So reluctantly she agreed to go. Syd followed in the car. She's in Burton A&E. They don't think she'll be in for long but they asked for all her medication, so I presume she'll be staying overnight. I hope you lot are all well.
