It has been raining for almost one week here non-stop, well, 6 days actually. So I am not able to do laundry for 6 days and I really need to do one soon. Since we are a tropical country, we really do not need a dryer because we hang and air dry our laundry.
. Most of the days of the year, we have the sun and the wind except for times like this we got to have monsoon rains and typhoon. I still do not plan to buy a dryer. But for now, I think I will have to go to a laundry shop so the clothes can be dried faster. At least we have options this. We have lots of laundry shop here.

It's has been raining here for almost a week too. I have a dryer but rarely use it. I used it this morning to dry Vince's pyjamas for hospital. He hasn't worn pyjamas for over 50 years but we bought him a pair last time he went into hospital. He only has one pair. If he decided he's going to keep wearing them we'll need to buy him a second pair.

@MarieCoyle we rarely use deter here since half of the year is hot and dry. The half of the other half can be a bit cold but dry then the rest is rainy

I’ve had a dryer my entire life, but I do hang some things to dry. I worked a lot of hours for years and had a big family, not having one would have been really difficult.

You might need to reconsider. I lived there I'd have the dryer for the peace of mind.

Rain can be refreshing, but for that long is excessive.
stay safe. (I'm sure you're used to that weather but I could never get used to it.)
