There is nothing left of me

Well that's what my ex said last night. When I met him I weighed probably about 180 pounds. Over the years I ballooned to 260 but then I got involved with the gym and a good nutrition program. I got back down to about 200 pounds and the the divorce stress stripped off another 20 pounds. Fine. My health hasn't been great over the past couple of years and I've had issues with eating, keeping food down, etc. I do my best but some days just are tough. I have continued to lose weight even though I'm not actively trying to. I just go with it and hope for good days. Anyway my ex hasn't seen me in several months. He was here last night and felt my hips, butt, and abdomen. He said "there is nothing left of you". Yup. I mean 170 pounds isn't something to discount but considering what I used to look like--even when I was at the gym--it is smaller. What was strange to me was that he seemed not to like me being skinnier. You'd think that everyone would want that. Oh well. There is nothing left of me. hahahaha If only I could find new pants to buy that fit me.

I packed around extra pounds for years. My friend came on Wednesday and said ok, you can stop now, you don’t need to lose any more weight. Funny, I’m not trying to and I have remained about the same for awhile, but she hasn’t seen me in about 6 months. I think sometimes it’s not the size or weight, people just think we should stay the same.

There's such a thing as too skinny. What that looks like is different for everyone. George actually needs to gain another six pounds before we can talk peg tube removal. Plus, he needs to eat more. It's progress. I know your health hasn't helped you with maintaining weight.

What a compliment! A friend of mine once weighed over 400 pounds and went on a diet. Someone who knew her saw her and said, “Where’s the other half of you?” Congratulations.

Maybe he likes more meat on the bones. You've lost a ton of weight though. I hope you're having a good weekend and can find some pants to fit.

It depends on the person. If you are big boned 170 pounds could have you looking too thin, My hubby has had issues for about 2 years now. He is down to about 120-130 and loves it. He doesn't love it when people see him and treat him like he is fragile. He is finally going to a gym trainer to get some tone on his stick like arms.
