Debt.

Left and right. That's the situation of my friend who called me a while ago. She told me she has lots of debts and she tries to loan again to lenders to pay for her debts. Hmmm. That's a cycle. I don't think she will be debt- free in the next few months or so if she will keep doing this. Her husband is the only one working for the family and I don't think her husband know. Good thing she did not borrow money from me. I'm saved.

She will never be out of debt if she continues like this. Remember never to lend her money.

@nela13 even if she asked for it. But it's weird that she is still very composed and still not sounding bothered at all

i would never lend her. The only thing that helps you with debt is to spend less. And unless you have a real problem (such as a health problem) you can do it.

@marguicha true. I do not know what happened to her. And it seems like she is bothered at all with all her debts. I am scared to loan and borrow without my husband knowing. He will be the one paying it

That would not help her on long term . It is vicious circle and it has all probability to get broken . The only way to get out would be to earn another income to reduce some debts and unfortunately she is not working . Her husband is only bread winner and as she is not trying, it is not going to help long term. She does not look to get debt free unless she does any one of these. The same idea was utilized by some scams and it got foiled in a year's time. Never lend her or get involved in financial matters with her.

I agree with you. It will not help her in the long run and their finances will suffer more. I hope she thought about that

I agree that debt can be a vicious cycle. It's good you didn't lend her money as you'd probably either wait a long long time to get it back or never.

Probably never. With the way she is now with all those debts, I doubt she will be able to pay if I lend her

I hate to hear of one partner having debts without the other one knowing. It's good she hasn't borrowed from you.

I agree, I feel bad for her husband not knowing this. But if he knew, he might be devastated
