A lot to do today

Officially schools start tomorrow and I still need to buy school supplies for my kids.
I also need to do some house chores and the grocery shopping as yesterday I didn't do nothing due to the funeral.
I hate doing my grocery shopping or going to the malls on Sunday, it is always crowded and in my opinion these places should be closed on Sunday as those that work there also need their sunday time with their families. But today I also need to go, I am getting courage to spend the afternoon shopping.
The weather is hot and sunny, a summer day here.
How is your sunday going?
Picture of my cousin's pool where we sometimes spend the sunday afternoon.

During Marcos Sr. era in the Philippines we have a blue sunday.. where everyone is not allowed to work, even the small store are closed, because it is dedicated to the Lord and to family.

Every Sunday should be dedicated to the Lord and to family. Everyone deserves not to work on sunday.

I usually go to the grocery store on Sundays. This Sunday I didn't get to go. Nice pool. My great-aunt used to have a pool. She had to get rid of hers because the pool pump stopped working and it was too much of upkeep for her.

I dislike going to the grocery during payday and weekends. I get too uncomfortable when I bump into so many people, always have to say "excuse me" and have to line up at the cashier for a long time. But lately that's the situation. Hopefully the nearby supermarket will finally reopen by October and I can do my grocery again on a weekday. I prefer to do my shopping in the morning after bringing my kids to school. It's more peaceful that way.

@almostoveryou Neither do I, usually the promo doesn't worth the time spend.

@nela13 I know what you mean. It's just so inconvenient during weekends. I wouldn't even go even if there's a sale or promo.

The pool looks much more inviting than the prospect of going out grocery and back to school shopping.
I think that it is great that you allowed your children to enjoy summer until the very last day, that is what they are for.
Good luck to them in the morning when they venture off to a new school year.

It is awful, it is crowded and there are people who look like they're just taking a walk through the supermarket
