It's gray and dreary here. Welcome to Florida, am I right (@moffittjc) ?
Anyway since we didn't do breakfast this morning. I'll feed the kids, but I rarely eat breakfast. We decided to do lunch at almost a regular lunch time. We just got finished.
It wasn't very exciting or fancy. It was bunny bread, butter, ham and cheese.
That's right you guessed it grilled cheese!
Side note, Is Bunny Bread a thing anywhere else besides the south? Someone chime in!
So that's what we had here, what did you eat for lunch?

She child had pancakes earlier, I asked if she was hungry and she said no. He child's gone so I wasn't going to put more effort into it than I had to. LOL

I don’t know what’s been going on with this weather, but it’s either been rainy or gray and overcast for like the past two weeks.
I’m from the South, and I’ve never heard of Bunny Bread.

Do you not shop at Walmart or Winn Dixie? I don't know if Publix sells it because I only go to Publix for clean bathrooms or pharmacy.

@thislittlepennyearns We don't have any Winn-Dixies in Gainesville, they all closed down. And I won't step foot in Walmart if I can avoid it.

For lunch we always have rice, and for breakfast we have friedrice or a bread, for dinner we also have rice... we are asian I guess, and we always gets hungry if we don't eat rice. Hehehehe.

I like rice, but I don't know if I could eat it every meal.

I wouldn't expect you to have it there. It's super white bread. Not much flavor. But its what the kids like. I prefer honey wheat.

I've also made it with bacon, or with tuna. Or with a few other things. When the kids were little we did grilled peanut butter and banana.

I put a pot of homemade beef barley soup in the crock pot late last night. The house smelled so yummy this morning. I had a cup of soup and a piece of toast, so I guess I combined breakfast and lunch. I am glad that I made a big pot of soup, when it cools I am going to freeze part of it for another day.
I am not a store-bought white bread fan, it just doesn't have much taste to me. I know kids love it.

I am not a white bread person either. I want wheat, Hawaiian or potatoe. Sometimes even rye.

I make a lot of breads. They taste so good. I do love Hawaiian bread but it’s addictive!!! I often make potato bread, but rye is my personal favorite.
