As some of you know I am getting ready for the Xmas party. I was searching for something to fill up the goodie bags and came across these Elite dreams cup cakes. I got some samples yesterday and they were so tasty - quite moist too
I will be ordering for these and I was told they stay fresh for over 3 months without refrigerating them. There are varieties to choose from.
I wonder how they can keep them so fresh for such a long period

This is a well established company and probably they know how to do it. If you know Christmas pudding remains fresh for months

@AmbiePam Thank you. I kept last year's QR Code stuck on the wall for months for guests to open it as and when I had them.
This time I have added that link you see in one of my posts here - bird chirps.

You’re certainly getting ready for Christmas early, or is Christmas early in your part of the world?
The buns (as we call them) are probably pumped full of preservatives. I like freshly baked cakes as soon as they’ve cooled, straight out the oven.
I’m sure these taste nice because I have had shop bought cakes that are as you describe.

I need that time as shopping can be quite frustrating in that I have already returned stuff and by the time I get what I want that will take time.
I too like just baked cakes but I find these quite good

@Orson_Kart Let me give you an example. I had ordered for caps for kids I returned them once as I was given stuff to assemble caps. and once again Iordered for another lot. They did the same thing Now they have promised to send me the fully assembled caps. All this took over a month.

@allknowing I understand. Organising any event is stressful, so the easier you can make it for yourself the better.

@allknowing I agree. Even if it takes days not to be spoiled, it will not reach the expiration date because I have eaten them heartily.

I have not looked at the ingredients but hopefully the preservative if at all is not harmful.

They remind me of my favorite cheese cupcakes, they are very addicting, at first you think you will not like it until you had your first bite and the next thing you know you ate it all and craving for another one. Heheheh.

I really would not know. The Christmas pudding stays fresh for months and no preservative is added there.

Elite dream cup cakes are tasty. However, I am not sure they would stay fresh for over 3 months. It does for a month even without refrigerating. My suggestion would be get them close to the Christmas party .We do have atleast 2 months . In that way , you would get one with longer shelf life . I have not checked how they tend to last longer , perhaps they could be adding preservatives which is the only logical reason I can think of. I did not they had different varities of cup cakes aprt from the one you have shared. Well, glad you liked them. Elite is a good brand and their products taste good. Enjoy the weekend!

I have no plans to order for them right now. I just mentioned here that they remain fresh till 3 months.
May be they use the same process as the Christmas pudding as that lasts for months without adding any preservative.
