Seaside Park Police Chief Boag wants to reward four of his officers for their efforts of rescuing swimmers who went swimming at the Stockton Avenue Beach on Friday September 13 when police officers Dakota Giglio and Bryan Urspruch were flagged down by a concerned swimmer who told the officers that his or her fellow swimmer was in trouble in the water when both officers were able to rescue the swimmer and get him or her out of the danger zone. The rescued swimmer did not need any medical attention and was released. Six days later Class Two Officer Mason Kinlan and Class One Officer Luke Cox were dispatched to the 2nd Avenue Beach where two male swimmers were caught in a rip current about 50 feet from the shore when both officers were able to get the two swimmers safely to shore. The Seaside Heights Fire Department took both officers and one of the accident victims to the Community Medical Center for evaluation and then released the same day. Great work from the police officers to rescue the swimmers and save their lives since they were no lifeguards on duty during Labor Day. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/us/,,,

I'm glad to read that they were okay. My dad had an ocean accident last year in South Seaside Park the day before Labor Day and he passed on Labor Day. My family is so grateful to those who help those struggling in the water or even out of the water. My mother asked for donations for the first aid squad instead of flowers for Dad.
