'Dosa' My favourite breakfast item

The heavy work is done by the maid - grinding. I only need to fry them and I like that chore.
Rice, Black gram dal is ground to a paste to which yeast,sugar and salt is added The batter is thin and kept over night for fermenting.
The dosas I make are soft and tasty. I just dunk them in tea.

Your breakfast is mouth watering. We make masala dosas too but nothing like eating them in a restaurant.

@allknowing No, I never made Dosa. Black gram dal is not available here.

That looks good, it reminds me of crepes. Except I bet dosas are higher in protein because of black beans. I should try to make some but I'm not a good cook.

@allknowing True, it looks like it has more carbs and more proteins but less fat. And it's vegan.
