A decorated bike at Araluen - and an update on Vince

I thought you might like an update on Vince. As most of you would know, Vince has recently had lung surgery. He does all his exercises each day and manages quite well when we walk around the village. But he found himself taxed today. We visited Araluen Botanical Park which I’ve already written about. From where we parked the car, we walked downhill to the restaurant where we treated ourselves to lunch. The hill was quite steep, and going downhill wasn’t a problem. After our meal, we went a little bit further down the hill, took quite a lot of photos, including this one of Vince with a decorated bike, then decided to make our way back up the hill to the carpark. Vince could only walk a short way then had to sit till he got his breath back, then we’d move on to another resting place. I drove home and he went straight for a nap. He bounced back after his nap. On Friday, we’ll learn if his lesion was a primary or secondary cancer. Wish us luck.
