Will know more in the morning if we should leave. If we DO leave we will hear west...and check along the way for a hotel room...gonna be hard to find with all the Linemen staging to go help once it is over. Saw a video of ambulances from several places headed west. My guess is they are transporting severe hospital cases away from Tallahassee and hospitals from the East.
My aunt has a place in The Villages, but she is in Palm Harbor. Told me to come down there if we need a place to go...LOL Not NO,..But Hell NO! Gonna be flooding down there. I told her she needed to pack up and leave there.
Depending on the forecast in the morning...we might not go any further than Destin or Niceville. Hopefully we can find a room somewhere.

I wouldn't wait too much longer if you're planing to bail. You know highways out of any city or twon are going to be gridlocked.

I think the sooner you go the safer you are.

I wish you the best finding a room somewhere out of the hurricane area since my relatives and myself went through a dark period when Hurricane Laura came though Lake Charles in 2020.

I wouldn't wait, I'd be already GONE by now cause if you wait
you'll get caught in all that traffic & be no safer but in danger.
I'd rather be safe than sorry no matter what it does.
