Vince gets the all clear / myLot

The photo is from Araluen Botanical Park. It’s one of Vince’s photos, used with permission. We’ve just came back from Vince’s specialist and his lung cancer was a primary rather than secondary cancer and, apart from ‘surveillance’ every six months then every twelve months, no more needs to be done. If he keeps exercising and walking, the breathlessness should improve. So that’s all great news for us. We can get on with our lives now. Thank you one and all for your prayers, good wishes, care and concern. I have really appreciated being able to talk about it here. Somehow, it’s different sharing it here than with those nearer and dearer for want of a better descriptor. I didn’t feel like worrying older siblings more than necessary. It seems it’s human nature to keep some things to ourselves. Maybe it’s a hangover from the days when it was dangerous to show any sort of weakness. Anyway, all is well and thanks again.

I did make a cake but it wasn't really to celebrate. We have a concert to go to tomorrow night so we're looking forward to that.

This park must be beautiful, Vince took a great photo of this stream and waterfalls. I am so glad about the good news about Vince, I know you are surely both relieved. Time to celebrate. I am also so glad to talk on myLot of things I prefer not to share with family.

That is wonderful news, congratulations!

That is a very lovely photo, I can only imagine how sweet it was to visit, the sounds of the water as it cascades over the rocks, the clean smell in the air, a very nice place to visit.

Judy, that is sure an answer to prayer! I understand what you mean about sharing on here. Most of the myLoters really do care about each other and for some reason it's easier to share our burdens than with real life folks.
