Firefighters in Midvale Utah answered an emergency call of an apartment on fire around 4:30am when a small dog who was in a kennel was not responding when the firefighters arrived inside the apartment.
The other inhabitants of the apartment were not home when the fire started most likely by cooking a meal unattended.
The firefighters took the dog outside of the danger zone and gave him CPR to revive the pet.
Even though no one was hurt, the damage to the apartment was so severe that the occupants are not able to return home for now.

I am sure that the occupants will find temporary housing by a charity.

I'm sorry the apartment was so damaged; but I hope the dog will be OK.

I know what you mean. A building can be replaced. A life cannot be replaced.

Those firefighters did well to save the dog, and it is good CPR worked on it to revive it too
