You've heard the expression he's a "bad boy" don't fall in love with him. Well, that can sometimes happen for guys too. Woman who come off aloof, free, uninhibited, and mysterious some men find sexually appealing. Maybe it's the thrill of the chase they seek, trying to tame the girl's wild side and possessing her as his own. What's your theory.
Anyway, here are the next playlist of women, lady or girl titled songs...
Your comments and musings on these picks, and your own favorite "feminine titled" favorites or music trivia always welcome...
***LONG COOL WOMAN (IN A BLACK DRESS)- THE HOLLIES 1971
-The song is about rescuing this mysterious woman singing in a bar from an FBI raid. It didn't hurt that she was "5'9" beautiful 'n' tall." Saving a pretty damsel in distress is irresistable to men, lol. The catchy song was a big hit in the U.S. charting at #2.
*Are you a fan of The Hollies pop style music? Do you have a favorite song?
TRIVIA CHALLENGE
***Now for our trivia music challenge for those who like to play along. See if you can guess the artists, songs or facts. Words in "quote marks" provide valuable clues!
1. Let's start this challenge with a "Name that Tune(s)" segment from our video group The Hollies...
***The Hollies recorded a song about "a couple" who were waiting for "a bus" on a "rainy day." When the guy offers to share his "umbrella with her" they eventually fall in love. Seems that umbrella was better than a pick up line, lol.
-Can you name this Hollies tune?
***The Hollies also recorded a song about a guy and girl "riding horses on a merry-go-round. "Around and around" they would go, " Up, down, up, down," but the guy can't catch her. Until she drops her prizes after getting off and he makes his move and the chase is over.
-Can you name this Hollies tune?
2. This band wrote this 1972 song about women who were "seductive." In finding inspiration in composing this song the bandmates used one girl who practiced "WITCHCRAFT." In 1976, the group recorded one of their most successful tunes, the chart toping "Hotel California," arguably one of the best rock songs of all-time. Part of the band's name is the same as "America's National bird."
-Can you name this band and their "woman titled" song?
Time to "man or woman up" when solving these song and artists answers. If you're stuck and need additional hints just let me know in your response. I'll be glad to supply one. Or, as Stevie Wonder would say, "Don't You Worry About a Thing."
Thanks for reading and responding to my music post!!! I will return with a new edition in the near future. Hope you can wait till then, lol. Stay tuned...

1. Uber stop!!! No, wait, I missed the Bus on that one.
Worthless trivia: Elton John was one of the session musicians on “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother.”
2. The Beagles? Witchy Doggie? More worthless trivia: Don Henley said in a 1979 radio interview that he hated “Witchy Woman,” claiming he wrote it “in bed, with the flu, and I’d just read Carlos Castaneda. So it was a combination of the flu medicine and the book I’d just read.”

I bet EJ has worked as a session musician on a few more artist's tracks in those early days.
Well, at least Don got a chance to date the ultimate Witchy Woman in Stevie Nicks later on. That probably eased the painful memory of that song...

Correct answers and lots of fun. Better than a Hollies Carousel ride.
