What brand of shampoo do you use?

Lately there is so much information coming to us on the internet that sometimes we don't know who to believe. I have always been a fan of natural products, as free as possible from harmful chemicals.
I know that the shampoos we find on sale in supermarkets are not the best. The ones I buy from professional hairdressing products are a little better but they also have a lot of harmful ingredients.
I'm looking for a more natural shampoo that doesn't damage the scalp, doesn't ruin my hair and doesn't contain chemicals.
I know it will be hard to find and much more expensive.
What brand of shampoo do you use? Do you know a natural one?
I read that Klorane is a good brand but I have never tried it.

My brand is Garnier and the shade is No.3, the darkest brown Recently however my hair turned pitch black. I took it up with the company but they were not able to know why it happened. They replaced the pack. I will use it now may be two months later

We use Clinic Plus, Sunsilk and Head and Shoulders.
We have tried Garnier as well but not as much.
Also tried a few Ayurvedic shampoos but except for ine, others are not so effective.

Yes, it could be due to the fact that they are lesser in numbers.
Plus they would be attracting certain Customs or Import duties.

I keep my hair very short, so I do not need much shampoo at all when washing my hair. I don't really pay attention to brand, I just buy whatever is on sale.

@nela13 With the price increase on all products over the last year due to inflation, I barely can afford groceries these days, so for me I will always focus on sales.
Has inflation been bad in your country over the past year? Although it's been bad in the US, they say it has been even worse in other countries around the world.

@moffittjc the prices are high here as well but as my parents have a big farm we have a lot of vegetables and fruits from them. Fresh products have increased a lot.

We buy Pantene but I've never really checked what is in it. I'm not too concerned about the ingredients but then, I'm nearing the end of my life and I'm not too concerned about what's in it. It might be worth googling home-made shampoos. There might be one that uses common ingredients.

I use a cheap one that gets the job done, my hair isn't falling off... it's all good.
But I often cowash, using conditioner only.
Did you try making your own shampoo at home?
I'd go that route if I needed a natural one. Oil alone doesn't cut it, you still need a fatty thing such as Castile soap or maybe coconut milk, seen that in a recipe.

@somewitch I know Apple cider vinegar is quite good for our hair but I don't know how to include it when I wash my hair.

@nela13 Yeah, I've never heard of Castile soap until I did the research.
Other ingredients should be easier to find, they're mostly oils. Even olive oil is a thing. Apple cider vinegar also appears from time to time but I'd never put it on my hair. Then I can't say how difficult it is to make shampoo. I've never prepared such concoctions, even if I call myself a witch.

I don't remember the name of mine, but it is something with argan oil. It seems to be good for volume.

We use Pantene Pink and for conditioner we use Cream Silk.
I can say using the Aloe Vera is better.

@nela13 when I was young my mom will put it in my hair directly, for about a couple of minutes she will let my hair with it after she rinse it. But right now I don't know I am not using it since we don't have aloe vera... we move out from that apartment where there is a piece of land where we plant aloe before.

@nela13 I take 5 soap nuts, we call it "Reetha" in India. Soak it over night and boil them with, 3 hibiscus leaves, 1 teaspoon fenugreek powder and 1 teaspoon tea the next morning. I cool it then smash everything with my, strain it and use the liquid as shampoo.

@aninditasen I think I don't have all those ingredients here. It must be fantastic doing our own.

Other mylotters refer to that shampoo here, Is Suave the name of the shampoo or is it a general brand? The name sounds a Portuguese one.

I use a brand made by Walmart. But when I finish this one I will use a brand called Native. It's supposed to be better.

I have sensitive scalp. I use Rausch shampoo, with Chamomile, Amaranth herbs. It's very soothing and gentle.
