Firefighters rescue three persons trapped inside of an elevator

Firefighters in Boise Idaho answered an emergency call on Wednesday evening where three persons were trapped inside of an elevator in a building in downtown when the elevator was stuck between the first and third floors. The elevator was stuck on the second floor when the firefighters with blocks bolted to the rails. The firefighters then used a harness to climb down and rescue the three persons safely out of the elevator through the top hatch. Firefighters are real heroes in our world. That is true since some television shows that claim to be based on real life events mention that some people get scared inside of locked elevators.

I've watched some scary movies based on being trapped in an elevator. If I had to climb down a ladder to get anywhere, I'd be trapped for sure.

It sounds nasty as they could not force the doors open, but had to rescue them through the roof hatch. A tricky move to climb down with a harness, and hitch the people back up again. It is good that firefighters are multi-skilled.
